Information on reopening safely during COVID-19

July 28, 2020

It’s been a long couple of months for all of us as we’ve been dealing with the impact of the COVID virus, and folks seem both excited and anxious about starting down a path toward normalcy again. Because of this, we want you to know that we’ve spent countless hours working toward a reopening plan that will keep clients and the community safe.

Here is a list of the changes you can expect during upcoming appointments at our office:

  • Clients and office staff alike will be expected to wear a face mask or covering.
  • We’ll practice social distancing in the office, and we’ll sit at least six feet apart during an office visit.
  • We’ll minimize use of paper, displaying account and plan information on screen when possible.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available in the office for use by clients.
  • All high-touch surface areas will be disinfected between each appointment. Bringing your own pen or stylus is encouraged to minimize contact.

More importantly, if you’re in a high-risk category for coronavirus or simply prefer not to meet face-to-face during these times, please let us know so we can make alternative plans to talk on the phone or online. If you’ve experienced a fever, cough, body aches, sore throat or any other potential symptoms in the two weeks leading up to your appointment, the recommended protocol is to err on the side of caution and reschedule for a future date or a virtual meeting instead. Again, simply let us know, and we’ll be happy to make the adjustments.

Our priority is always the safety and well-being of our clients. We’re confident that by taking these steps, we can guarantee a safe space for us to come together.
